What we do

Glazing system installation
Our glazing installation capability covers unitised curtain wall systems, stick-built curtain wall, structural silicone glazing (SSG) and conventional framed windows on buildings from four storeys to well above. We work from ropes with custom lifting and handling rigs that allow us to position and fix glass safely and accurately, including oversized panels that require specialised soft rigging and controlled sequencing.

Pre-installation assessment
Before any panel is installed, our teams assess the structural framing, check anchor points, verify slab edge tolerances and confirm that the correct drainage and ventilation details are in place. Installation is carried out in accordance with project drawings, with each panel aligned, fixed and sealed to specification before our teams move on.

Supplier & engineer coordination
We coordinate directly with glazing system suppliers and facade engineers to manage sequencing, material deliveries and quality inspection hold points. This ensures works proceed in the correct order, that materials are on site when needed and that any design queries are resolved before they affect programme.

Documentation & handover
All works are documented with photographic evidence throughout, covering framing condition, fixing positions, seal application and panel alignment. Signed-off handover records are provided at completion, giving clients, main contractors and building control a complete record of the installation.
Why Think Access
Installing glazing at height is a specialist operation that requires both access expertise and glazing trade knowledge. Think Access brings both, reducing contractor interfaces and simplifying programme management for main contractors and developers.
