What we do

Routine high-level electrical maintenance

High-level electrical fixtures including luminaires, emergency lighting heads, cable management and control equipment are frequently inaccessible for routine maintenance without specialist access. Our rope access teams carry out lamp replacements, driver changes, connection checks, conduit repairs and equipment cleaning across any building height, providing a rapid and cost-effective alternative to expensive MEWP hire.

Emergency lighting inspection & testing

Emergency lighting systems require regular testing and maintenance to comply with BS 5266 and relevant fire safety legislation. We inspect and test emergency luminaires at height, replacing failed units, checking battery backup performance, and providing documented test records for inclusion in your fire safety file.

Reactive fault repairs

Reactive repairs following electrical failures at height are also within our capability. Where a luminaire has failed, been damaged, or where a fault has developed in cable management, we can respond quickly to assess and rectify the issue, providing photographic evidence and a written record of works carried out.

Operational efficiency

Maintaining high-level electrical equipment via rope access avoids the cost, lead time and operational disruption associated with MEWP hire or scaffold erection. Our teams mobilise quickly, work efficiently across large building interiors, and keep exclusion zones to a minimum, allowing facilities to remain operational throughout.

Why Think Access

Keeping high-level electrical systems maintained is essential for operational efficiency, safety compliance and energy management. Think Access makes this practical by combining access speed with genuine electrical competence.

F.A.Q’s

For urgent reactive maintenance, we typically aim for a response within 24 to 48 hours. We carry a broad range of common lamp types and drivers to maximise the chance of completing the repair on the first visit.

Yes. Our teams work efficiently to test large numbers of luminaires in a single visit. We provide a complete test record and defect schedule on the same day.
