What we do

Emergency signage & lighting installation
Emergency signage and lighting at elevation is required in large warehouses, production facilities, aircraft hangars, sports venues and retail stores where elevated mounted signs are needed to ensure visibility across large floor areas. We install self-contained and maintained emergency luminaires, illuminated escape route signs and non-illuminated safety signs at any height, fixed to structural steelwork, walls or suspended systems.

BS 5266 compliant installation
All emergency lighting installations are carried out in accordance with BS 5266 and relevant fire safety guidance. We install luminaires at the correct height and orientation to provide the required lux levels at floor level, and carry out basic function checks following installation to confirm battery backup operation before handover.

Periodic testing & maintenance
Maintained systems require periodic testing and battery replacement to remain compliant. We carry out these maintenance activities at height, providing test records and battery replacement logs for your fire safety file. Scheduling is agreed in advance to minimise disruption and ensure your compliance obligations are met consistently.

End-of-life replacement
Where luminaires have reached end of life, we replace them with current-model equivalents on the same visit, avoiding the need for a separate mobilisation. This combined inspect-and-replace approach keeps your emergency lighting estate current, compliant and fully documented without unnecessary additional cost or downtime.
Why Think Access
Emergency signage and lighting that cannot be seen because it is at height and out of reach for maintenance quickly becomes a compliance risk. Think Access keeps these systems accessible, maintained and compliant.
