What we do

Statutory inspection obligations at height
Many regulatory inspection obligations require documentation that can only be produced following physical inspection of the structure or equipment in question. LOLER thorough examinations of lifting equipment at height, PSSR inspections of pressure systems, working at height rescue plan verification and building control condition assessments all require a competent person to access and inspect the relevant equipment or structure and rope access is often the only practical way to do so.

Regulation-format reporting
Our inspection team produces reports in the format required by the relevant regulation and scheme. LOLER reports follow the standard format with the required fields for safe working load, examination findings and the next due examination date. PSSR reports cover the required elements of the written scheme of examination. Building inspection reports are structured to support building control submissions and asset management records.

Competent persons for every inspection type
All inspections are carried out by competent persons with relevant qualifications and experience for the type of inspection being undertaken. Competence is assessed against the specific regulatory requirement not a generic standard ensuring that every report is produced by someone with the appropriate knowledge, training and experience to satisfy the duty holder’s legal obligations.

Maintenance schedules & compliance files
We carry out inspections and produce reports for clients’ maintenance schedules, insurance renewals, planned preventative maintenance records and statutory compliance files. Regular inspection programmes are scheduled in advance, with reminders issued before each inspection is due, ensuring that no statutory examination date is missed and that compliance records remain current and complete.
Why Think Access
Regulatory compliance depends on reports that are produced by competent people with the access to do the job properly. Think Access provides both.
